Playgroup

The British School Bern Mighty Murmeli Playgroup will open in May 2025! This bilingual German and English playgroup situated inside of a private school, without the private school tuition! The Mighty Murmeli offers a play-based learning program in a warm, calm and enriching environment that focuses on the individual needs of the children. We are not a big school, nor a large playgroup provider. We are a small school that believes in a supportive and nurturing environment for all.

This playgroup is a great option for parents for any of the following reasons:

  • Phave children who are too young to enter Preschool
  • Pwant to introduce their child to a school-like atmosphere
  • Pare interested in an international environment for their child
  • Pare looking for a bilingual English and German program
  • Pwant a local playgroup
Eligibility for placement requires the child to be between 2.5 and 4 years of age, and to be at least partially potty-trained (using pull-up pants).
